
Ambassador Oleksandr Karasevych, , Born in 1981 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, spent his early years in the Kherson region. He pursued higher education at the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, graduating in 2003 with a law degree. That same year, he began his diplomatic career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Throughout his career, Ambassador Karasevych has held several significant positions, including Consul of Ukraine in Toronto, Deputy Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe, Director of the Department of International Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Director of the Department of Foreign Policy and Strategic Partnerships in the Office of the President of Ukraine. In December 2024, he was appointed State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
In 2023, Ambassador Karasevych was appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. He has been instrumental in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, actively engaging with Dutch leadership and advocating for continued support for Ukraine during challenging times.
The Embassy of Ukraine in The Hague serves as the official diplomatic mission of Ukraine to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Established in May 2002, the embassy fosters and strengthens the bilateral relations between Ukraine and the Netherlands. Since 2023, Oleksandr Karasevych has been serving as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
