Arseniev Regional Museum, Primorskiy kray, Russia
Victor A. Shalay has been director of the museum since 2001. The museum was founded in 1884 as the Museum of Amur Krai`s Research Society. The museum collects and keeps the historical and cultural monuments; holds scientific researches, educational and cultural actions for patriotic upbringing of population.
The V.K. Arseniev Primorsky State Associated Museum is located in the oldest building of the Vladivostok center. The museum is the oldest and the largest museum on the Far East consisting of eight branches in the city and the Territory.
