Kynance Mews

Kynance Mews is a charming and historic mews located in South Kensington, London. Originally built between 1862 and 1879 as stabling for the Cornwall Gardens development, it has retained much of its vintage charm, with Grade II listed archways and beautifully restored properties. The mews was renamed in 1924 and is known for its picturesque appearance, adorned with Virginia-creeper-covered archways that change colors with the seasons, attracting both tourists and locals alike

Over the years, Kynance Mews has housed notable residents, including the renowned travel writer Bruce Chatwin. Despite being located in the bustling city, it offers a quaint, community-oriented atmosphere, making it feel like a hidden village within London. The mews has even been featured in various films and TV shows, adding to its allure
