Ethnical Park Vatan, Ufa, Respublika Bashkortostan, Russia

The Vatan Park is one of the brightest projects realized for the guests of the SCO and BRICS summits, which took place in Ufa in 2015. Thanks to the park expositions, guests and foreign delegations were able to get acquainted not only with the culture of the indigenous people of Belarus and their national customs, but also with the modern achievements of the republic.

The main object of the park is the project “Ethnoderevnya”. The complex consists of seven yurts, they reflect the entire identity of the region.

Here the kurais, kubyzists, dumbyrists, singers and dancers are performing, folk crafts are demonstrated by masters of arts and crafts. In the new season in the park there will be a food zone with dishes of national cuisine, an open library, a bicycle school and a sports zone.

The site will also be used for city-wide and thematic events, including street theater performances, performances by musicians and creative groups, handicraft fairs, children’s holidays, charitable and sports events. The park will last until mid-September.

As the organizers note, the universal format of the site and an open format for the participation of event organizers make it possible to create a unique center of attraction for citizens and visitors of the city.

The project is implemented by the Foundation for the Development of Urban Projects with the support of the Administration of Ufa.
