The Lodge is the official residence of the Prime Minister of Australia, located in the capital city of Canberra. It has served as the primary residence for the Prime Minister since its completion in 1927. Situated on 18,000 square meters of land in the suburb of Deakin, The Lodge is a gracious two-story, 40-room Georgian revival-style mansion.

The residence is used for both official and private purposes, housing the Prime Minister and their family during their tenure. It also serves as a venue for official functions, dinners, and meetings with international dignitaries. Though it has undergone renovations over the years, The Lodge retains its historic character while providing a secure and functional living space for Australia’s political leader.
