Gialia Beach, Andros Island, Greece
Beautiful Beach in magical Andros: Located a couple of kilometres from Chora, this is a nice beach with soft pebbles and crystal water. Although it forms a small cove, Gialia is often affected by summer winds, the so-called meltemia. With many tourist facilities, including rooms to rent and delicious taverns, Gialia is a popular beach, particularly in high season. The closest villages are Stenies and Chora, while on the next cove there is another lovely beach called Piso Gialia, equally developed in tourism.
