Château Du Plessis-Macé, Le Plessis-Macé, Pays de la Loire, France

Go to the discovery of the fortress of Plessis-Macé built in the thirteenth century and then converted into a pleasure residence in the fifteenth century. You will see black shale stones that give the castle a magical appearance. Passing through the many furnished rooms including the King’s room you will have this strange feeling of presences that hover and can easily imagine the daily life in this castle.

Stop under the tufa balcony, one of the most beautiful examples of the Gothic style and in the chapel that houses a real treasure: a 15th century oak stand. You can then walk in the medieval garden and learn more about the knowledge and beliefs of the time.
