Esplanade Recital Studio
An architectural icon with distinctive twin shells, Esplanade is one of the busiest arts centres in the world. Since opening in 2002, we have presented more than 53,000 performances and activities, drawing 34 million patrons and 116 million visitors.
We believe that the arts can transform lives and uplift spirits and that it should be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability and background. As a charity and a not-for-profit organisation, our funders, donors and sponsors are critical in enabling our vision to be a performing arts centre for everyone.
As Singapore’s national performing arts centre, Esplanade is guided by our social mission to entertain, engage, educate and inspire through the arts. Our calendar of events span cultures, languages and genres, out of which 70% are presented free for all to enjoy. We regularly present world-renowned companies and artists to complement Esplanade’s own diverse offerings for audiences.
