Located at the mouth of Singapore River, adjacent to Merlion Park, is the Fullerton Waterboat House, built in 1940s. Embark on a journey up the ground floor entrance to 1919, a restaurant which provides an intimate ambience for European fine dining. Located on the rooftop directly above 1919, is the sister establishment – The Rooftop. The menu offers indulgent fine-dining versions of popular favourites such as the Lobster and Foie Gras pizza as well as Fish and Chips made with beer-battered sea bass, dory and cod. The rooftop also offers a range of excellent imported beers and ales, as well as their own cocktail creations like the Merlion Punch and The Orchard.
The Fullerton Waterboat House, originally known as the Water House, is a historic water supply house formerly used to supply fresh water to incoming ships in Singapore. The former Water House was gazetted for conservation in 2002 and has since reopened as a restaurant.
