The Bamboo Cevennes, Générargues, Languedoc-Roussillon, France
This is a perfect place if you like gardens. packed full of exotic plants and a real Japanese garden to admire. There was modern art mixed in with the bamboo.
You can ride on the steam train from Anduze which made it even more fun. Basic cafe but a really well stocked shop selling very nice stuff at some low prices. Hats, bags that sort of thing.
