Abismo Anhumas, Bonito, State of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil
Abismo Anhumas is a cave located 23 km from Bonito-MS, one of the largest ecotourism centers in South America. Looking from above you can not imagine the immensity of the cave.
Discovered in 1970 by a pawn after a local forest fire, open to visitors in 1999, after initiation of mapping, training and personnel training surveys.
The small slit in the ground is just the beginning of rappelling, technique of descent in ropes. To the bottom of the cave are 72 meters (equivalent to a 26-storey building) of vertical descent, in a walk that lasts about five minutes, try to make the most of the view.
