In 1999, the Madeira family acquired the area where Valparaiso Complexo Turístico Ltda is currently located, denominating it Chácara São José do Valparaíso. With this name, its owners wanted to pay homage to St. Joseph, patron saint of the Municipality of São Ribamar, and Pablo Neruda, who is the poet of the predilection of the Madeira family.
In 2006, with the idea of creating a company focused on tourism and gastronomy, the Valparaiso Tourist Complex was born and the original denomination was preserved.
Completing 10 years in 2016, Valparaíso Acqua Park is increasingly innovating in technology and safety for its clients and associates. There are several water and radical attractions for you to overflow with joy.
Valparaíso Acqua Park is the largest water park in Maranhão and has been awarded the seal of excellence by Trip Advisor twice in a row.
