Train Station Jamarat Mina 3

Shading the ramp of station mina 3 (mashaer metro) with space truss sheds which consist of 26 sheds. This project build up with concept of shading the pedestrian bridges, train stations in the area, “Mina 3.” corridors linking the facility Azizia stones. The number of meters estimated to shade them is about 14700 M2 and it will contribute the protection of the pilgrims heading to and from the Mashael train stations from the sunlight, pointing out that the shaded lanes included the development of specific anti-metal heights with the proper business of ventilation, lighting and surveillance of television work.

The Jamarat are three stone pillars which are pelted as a compulsory ritual of Hajj in emulation of the Prophet Ebrahim. They represent the three locations where Ebrahim pelted the Shaitan with stones when he tried to dissuade him from sacrificing his son Ismail. The pillars are called ‘Jamarat-al-Ula’, ‘Jamarat-al-Wusta’ and ‘Jamarat-al-Aqaba’.
